Though originally from the Scotland, he lived for awhile in the United States but later chose to live in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. We in the province are proud to call him one of use. The Battle of Louisburg
The Fortress Louisburg in Cape Breton is one of our proudest pieces of hertiage. A fascinating place to visit - if your visiting Nova Scotia and miss this fabulous fortress - well, shame on you.
