What the heck am I talking about ?

Kiva - it's an organization that lends to people in poor countries. It can become a great hooby for you as you can set up an account for free and for as little as $25 (which you can get back) you can help someone in a poor country and watch his progress.
Once the borrower repays his full loan (perhaps he borrowed $300 from 12 people) - you get your money back as a credit which you can cash in or reloan to someone else.
Why not check it out - it's awesome. And here's a bonus for you, contact me at moonfish@eastlink.ca - if you do join, send me confirmation and I will make a loan in your honor (which I will tell to the world on kivafriends.org)
Have a Great Day,
